New Volvo engine service
Customer service is important to Prior Power Solutions which has led to the company investing in Volvo Penta Vision – a new Volvo engine service for maintenance and repairs.
Prior Power Solutions’ Volvo Penta-trained technicians now provide personalised video reports for its Volvo Penta customers when undertaking Volvo engine service or repairs to provide total transparency of work required and undertaken.
Presented by the technicians themselves, these reports can also convey operating procedures and customer maintenance checks.
Delivered straight to customer’s mobile phone number and email, the bespoke reports provide for simple authorisation of any additional works required ensuring customers are back up and running quicker than ever.
A recent service check on the Manor Endurance, a crew transfer vessel (CTV) for the offshore wind industry was undertaken by Jai Steward, one of our technicians who has recently undertaken training on the new CitNow software.
Toby Mead, Director, Manor Renewable Energy says, “Prior Power Solutions recently attended the Manor Endurance to provide a 500-hour service on the Volvo Penta main engines and IPS drives.
The engineers were thorough and extremely professional, and the added benefit of the summary video presentation was a real benefit to the MRE team; I fully recommend this service to other vessel owners.”
Prior Power Solutions has been affiliated with Volvo Penta since the 1990s and received many awards as a dealership over that time.
Daniel Platten, Service Manager says, “This is exactly what the future of customer service looks like. Delivering accurate information about the work required to their engines to their fingertips.
“This new Volvo engine service from Prior Power Solutions builds on the trust we have with our customers and provides us with many opportunities to deliver enhanced customer support with total convenience and efficiency.
“Backed up by our well-stocked and knowledgeable parts department we can minimise customer downtime.”
